Trimming is a fully automatic three-knife trimmer designed for digital book finishing. It enables fast changeover time without operator intervention. Available in inline or nearline configurations, it can be equipped with a stacking module for increased productivity.

Sirio and Trimming can produce books with flaps, thanks to a dedicated front cutting system. Upon request, the three-knife trimmer automatically lifts the cover flaps using vacuum heads, keeping them outside the cutting area to allow precise front-edge trimming. The system is fully automatic and requires no manual intervention. It can be activated or deactivated via a barcode for maximum efficiency, or through the touchscreen interface.
