Privacy policy pursuant to art. 13 EU Regulation 2016/679

Data Controller
We hereby inform you that, pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter: "Regulation"), your Personal Data collected during registration as user and use of this APP will be processed by MECCANOTECNICA S.p.A. as data controller ("Data Controller").

Types of data subject to processing
The Data Controller will process the following categories of personal data:

• user identification data: the data requested during registration and authentication (none of the requested data belongs to special data categories);
• usage data: access data, displayed content data and shared content data all linked to the user and the time.

Purposes, legal basis and optional nature of processing
Your Personal Data will be processed for the following purposes:

1. to provide controlled access to the application (only users who are entitled may access the application);
2. to assess the legitimate use of the application (the data contained in the APP may be of a confidential nature or contain "confidential information" which must be shared in compliance with professional secrecy);
3. to assess the interest which the company's products generate on the various markets.

The legal bases for processing are:

• the execution of the contract between the user of the application and the Data Controller (art. 6.1.b of the Regulation);
• the legitimate interest of the data controller which is applicable because:
  • an appropriate relationship exists between the Data Controller and the User of the application (as provided for in recital 47 of the Regulation): i.e. the user offers its services to the Data Controller and can reasonably expect a data processing of this type;
  • the Data Controller intends monitoring its reference market and preventing the improper use of company information by processing data which do not compromise the fundamental rights and freedoms, dignity or legitimate interest of the data subject (the user).

In view of the above-mentioned legal bases, the Data Controller does not require consent to process the above-mentioned data.
The conferment of your Personal Data for the above-mentioned purposes is optional, but without such Personal Data it will not be possible to enable the installation of the App.

Recipients of the personal data
Your Personal Data may only be shared with:

• natural persons authorised by the Data Controller to process personal data after signing a non-disclosure agreement (e.g. employees of the Sales and Marketing departments and system administrators);
• entities, institutes or authorities to which disclosing your Personal Data is mandatory pursuant to legal provisions or orders of the authorities.

With regard to the possible transfer of Data to Third Countries, the Data Controller informs that processing will be carried out according to one of the methods permitted by applicable law, such as for example the consent of the data subject, the adoption of Standard Clauses approved by the European Commission, the selection of entities adhering to international programmes for the free circulation of data (e.g. EU-USA Privacy Shield) or operating in countries considered secure by the European Commission. More information is available, on request, from the Data controller.

Storage of personal data
Your Registration Data will be kept for as long as you remain a user of the application and for a further 2 years for archiving purposes. Your User Data will be kept for the time necessary to pursue the purposes expressed above and in any case for a period not exceeding 10 years.

Your rights
You have the right to ask the Data Controller, at any time, to access your Personal Data, to rectify or erase them, or to object to their processing. You also have the right to request the limitation of the processing in the cases provided for by art. 18 of the Regulation, as well as to obtain in a structured format, in common use and readable by an automatic device, the data concerning you, in the cases provided for by art. 20 of the Regulation.
Requests must be addressed in writing to the Data Controller at the following address: sales@meccatec.it.
In any case you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, pursuant to art. 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that your data are being processed in a way contrary to the regulations in force.
